from Austria Austrian Gugelhupf 250g butter (real butter, no low-fat stuff) 4 Eggs 3 egg yolks 450g flour 220g sugar 1 cup milk 6 sp. rum almonds 1 packet baking powder (erm, dont know if this is correct...please ask if you dont know that term ;) Cream butter&sugar until frothy, then mix in eggs (one fater another, keep stirring). Mix baking powder with flour and sieve for optimum consistency. Mix with dough and rum. Butter up a guglhupf mold pan (extensivly) and scatter halved almonds on the bottom (top). Pour dough in, bake about 1 hour at 160° Celsius. Have fun! +bh
