from USA Drain and rinse one can of butter beans and then add them to: A can of baked beans A can of kidney beans A chopped onion 2 - 3 slices of bacon cut in one inch segments 1/4 c ketchup 1/4 c BBQ sauce 2 tbsp EACH: molasses, teriyaki sauce, red wine vinegar Simmer in sauce pan or bake on low for several hours. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Simmer another half hour or so. These are really good. I am always asked to bring these to outdoor parties. As a matter of fact, I made a dutch oven full of them yesterday for a bbq last night and when I walked in the door, all the "young folks" (the 20 somethings) aid, "Did you bring the beans????" LOL!! None are left! Libby
