BAKED PINEAPPLE USED AS A VEGETABLE 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple 3 slices white bread, fresh and finely (unsweetened) do not drain crumbled 1 cup sugar 1/4 lb butter (1 stick) 3 eggs, beaten pinch salt 2 Tbsp. flour Cream butter, sugar, and salt. Beat eggs, add flour and beat again. Add pineapple and bread crumbs. Bake in 400 degree oven for 45 minutes. Good with ham or chicken or pork chops.
