1 container extra firm tofu marinade: 1/3 cup oil ( olive ) 3 Tbs creamy peanut butter 1 tsp salt 1 Tbs paprika ( smoked paprika is good here too , but use much less ! ) 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp black pepper 1 tsp salt Your favorite barbecue sauce, bottled or home made Or Mayonnaise This is very tasty and if you enjoy tofu I hope you will like this as much as I do. Remove tofu from carton and drain very well. Slice tofu into finger thick slices. Combine marinade ingredients well with whisk and coat tofu evenly and let stand at room temperature one hour. Lay tofu slices with marinade on a baking pan and bake 400F for about 20 minutes and carefully turn over and bake another 20 minutes , so each side is somewhat browned. Remove pan from oven, spread on your favorite barbecue sauce and heat through 5 to 10 minutes in the oven. Yield: 4 servings Note: I personally like to smear mayonnaise over the tofu when it comes out of the oven. The tofu is firm on the outside with a creamy center

1 container extra

marinade:
