"VERY GOOD" STEAKS (Bifes Bem Bens) portugal from: The Wonderful World of Cooking Bulls are often used as beasts of burden or in the bull ring before they reach the Portuguese dining table, so many clever ways of tenderizing the meats have been devised, such as this marinade. 1/2 cup dry white wine 1 tablespoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 2 pounds beef fillet, sliced 1 inch thick 3 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons milk Combine wine, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Pour over meat. Marinate for 2 hours. Drain. Melt butter in milk in skillet. Add steaks. Saute until done, turning often. serves 6

"VERY GOOD" STEAKS (Bifes Bem Bens)

the Portuguese dining table, so many clever ways of tenderizing the meats have been devised, such as this
marinade.

1/2 cup
dry white wine
1 tablespoon
garlic powder
1 teaspoon
salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds
beef fillet, sliced 1 inch thick
3 tablespoons
butter
2 tablespoons
milk

Combine
