from New York, USA 1 large head of broccoli florets cooked tender, cooled, separated 1 large red apple unpeeled, chopped 1 stalk celery chopped 2 Tbs, red onion fine chopped 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1/2 cup dark or light raisins 1 cup crumbled soft style blue cheese mayonnaise to bind salt and pepper to taste These combinations create a delicious salad . I used some leftover blue cheese and the salad got raves- at least in my family! Combine all the ingredients and just add enough mayonnaise to bind everything. Season with salt and pepper and chill well. Best appearance served the same day but delicious a day later too.
