from Austin, Tx 1 1/3 lb sirloin tip roast or rump roast (cut when partially thawed so you can obtain *very* thin slices) 6 Tbsp. sugar 2 green onions, minced 1/4 tsp. garlic powder or minced garlic 3 tsp. sesame oil 3 Tbsp. sesame seed (Korean- roased and crushed. These must be crushed to release the proper flavor.) 1 1/2 tsp. pepper 6 Tbsp. soy sauce 1/3 cup water Cut meat in thin slices (when partially thawed as explained before). Mix meat with sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Marinate (cover and chill) for 4 hours to a day. ** Recommended marinating time is at least a day. The flavor is wonderful and strong. Stir fry until brown in large skillet (or cook and stir in a round heavy casserole dish on top of the stove). Serve over rice.
