Chess Cake 1 stick of butter or margarine 1 box Duncan Hines' butter cake mix 1 egg Melt butter in a 9x13 pan, add cake mix and egg and mix well to a dough form and spread in bottom of pan. Add a layer of chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts or whatever you like) 1 box of 10X confectioners' sugar 3 eggs 1 box (8 oz.) cream cheese Beat together real well and pour over the top and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let cool and cut into squares. This is a great and easy cake to make. Enjoy!!!!!!

Chess
Cake

1 stick of
butter or margarine
1 box Duncan Hines'

Melt butter in a 9x13 pan, add cake mix and egg and mix well to a

I had this chess cake in Memphis in November at our cogic convercation. never had it befor I loved I have been looking for the recipe since are there others. What about Memphis Jim Dootle chess cake?
