1 container of brussell sprouts 1/2 stick butter or margarine 2 heaping Tbs flour chicken broth half and half cream salt and pepper Clean and trim sprouts. Cook in boiling water till tender ( or in micro ) and drain and set aside. In saucepot. melt butter and whisk in flour and cook and stir over medium heat for a few minutes.Mixture will be pastelike. Gradually add enough hot broth so mixture is thick, stirring constantly. Season to taste. Mix in a bit of cream to thin if desired. Add the sprouts and stir well. Serve immediately. Serves 3 or 4.
