from Yardley, PA 1 bulb garlic olive oil (NOT extra virgin) Preheat oven to 400F. Use a toaster oven if you wish. Remove garlic cloves from bulb and rub lightly with oil. Place individual cloves into heated oven until golden or dark brown on the outside, about 30 minutes. Use this as a garnish or as part of an appetizer. After roasting, the garlic takes on a completely different flavor as is far less bitter than raw. This method is great for those who love garlic and wouldn't mind snacking on it!
