from NYS, US 3 cup fresh blueberries 2 tsp lemon juice 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 1/2 cups biscuit mix 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1/4 cup butter cut up into small pieces Toss berries with lemon juice and vanilla and place in a greased 8 inch square pan. Combine biscuit mix , sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle over the berries. Dot evenly with the butter. Bake in a 350F oven about 40 to 50 minutes. Serve warm or cool. Scoop out portions from pan. Top servings with optional ice cream or whipped cream. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
