I recently purchased the cookbook "Fat-Free Holiday Recipes". I am posting some of the recipes that my husband and I plan to use for our own Thanksgiving meal. I hope some of you can use them as well. I have also included a Pumpkin Layer Pie recipe. Enjoy:-) * Exported from MasterCook Mac * Foolproof Fat-Free Gravy Recipe By : Fat-Free Holiday Recipes Serving Size : 24 Preparation Time :0:15 Categories : Thanksgiving Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 c turkey drippings -- defated * see note 1/8 tsp white pepper 1/4 tsp poultry seasoning 1 tsp chicken bouillon granules 1/4 c unbleached flour 1 tbsp unbleached flour 1/2 c skim milk -- at room temperature Combine the fat-free drippings, white pepper, poultry seasoning, and bouillon granules in a 1-quart saucepan, and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. While gravy is heating, combine flour and milk in a jar with a tight fitting lid, and shake until smooth. Slowly add the milk mixture to the simmering broth, stirring constantly with a wire whisk.
