Tina Mak New South Wales, Australia Thanks to my mum for the delicious recipe! Fried Spicy Tumeric chicken 1 kg chicken drumstick/wings 2 large onion 2 teaspoon of black pepper 1 teaspoon of cummin 250g tumeric powder - if you can get fresh ones (grinded) the better 1 cup rice flour oil for deep frying seasoning to taste (sugar,salt or vegetable salt to taste) Method: Grind the onion, cummin and pepper together until fine. Marinate the chicken meat with the grinded ingredients, tumeric and add enough seasoning to taste. Leave to marinate overnight if possible otherwise a minimum of 2 hours. Heat oil and coat each piece of chicken meat with the rice flour. Shake off excessive flour and deep fry till golden brown.
