from New Jersey, USA 4 salmon steaks, 1-inch thick
olive oil
salt, pepper
1 lemon, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Brush both sides of salmon with olive oil and season to taste with salt and pepper. Arrange in roasting pan. Broil 10 minutes. Turn steaks. Arange lemon slices on top and broil 8 minutes longer.

Meanwhile, melt butter in small skillet. Add walnuts and cok 2 minutes, stirring. Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved. Sprinkle walnut mixture over cooked salmon. Makes 4 servings.
