On wax paper, form into 2 long rolls and wrap each roll in wax paper/plastic and chill very well to firm up dough . Then keep in refrigerator and bake as needed. Dough may also be frozen if desired. Slice cookies with sharp knife 1/4 inch thick and place and bake a few inches apart on greased baking sheets, 375F 10 to 15 minutes or golden and set. Cool a few minutes before removing to rack to cool completely. Note: yield: depends on how thick you form your rolls ( usually 2 inches thick ) and how many slices you cut from each roll.
