I use to work at Krispy Kreme and the donuts coming out of the hot oil are not sweet at all as I loved getting them hot before the glaze went on. No one will get it perfect as the ingredients came already packaged and ready to mix with water; but these are very close and delicious.

Only thing close to Krispy Kreme was the glaze. The receipe does tell when to add the sugar and I did; but, they weren't very sweet and not near as light as Krispy Kreme.

I made these doughnuts this week using the creamy glaze topping and they were very good. I would recommend anyone to try the recipe.

forgot to add that the sugar needs to be mixed in to the recipe in the instructions!! :-) we made them sugar free by going word for word and realized afterward that the sugar wasn't added - and they were still great
