Recipes vary with additions of cinnamon, crushed nuts, cardamom, different sugars, etc. Dry roast the channa daal until it changes to a slight golden color. Do not burn the channa daal. Grind the roasted daal to a fine powder. To this add melted ghee and powdered sugar, mix well to form a soft dough. Make small balls out of this and store them in air tight container.
