Mince Meat for Tarts or Pies 4 oz raisins 4 oz currants 4 oz prunes 2 oz mixed peel 4 oz brown sugar 4 oz suet 1 teaspoon nutmeg 1 teaspoon spice 1/4 cup rum 1/2 cup wine 2 tablespoons lime juice 1 tablespoon lime rind. chop fruit and suet finely. Add sugar, spices, rum, wine, lime juice and grated ring. Mix well togehter. Put into glass jars, cover closely and allow to stand about 3 weeks before using.
