Here's another vegetarian savoury which I enjoy. Pakora 500 grams yellow split peas - soaked overnight 2 large onion - finely chopped 1 teaspoon of cummin seed 1 egg 5 finely shredded hot red chilies 3 whole sprigs of finely shredded fresh curry leaves - (leave out the middle stem) self-raising flour seasoning to taste (I use Vegeta all the time) oil for deep frying Method: Grind the soaked peas till 60% fine. If you like a nutty texture, leave out two handfuls ungrinded. Mix chili, curry leaves, seasoning, egg, onion and cummin seeds together into the peas. Mix in enough self-raising flour until mixture is well-binded. Heat oil and spoon the mixture into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and serve as savoury. Enjoy!

Here's another
vegetarian savoury which I enjoy.

Pakora

500 grams yellow
split peas - soaked overnight
2 large
onion - finely chopped
1 teaspoon of cummin
seed
1
egg
5 finely shredded
hot red chilies
3 whole sprigs of finely shredded fresh
curry leaves -
(leave out the middle stem)
self-raising
flour
seasoning to taste (I use Vegeta all the time)

oil for
deep frying

Method:
Grind the soaked peas till 60% fine. If you like a nutty
texture, leave out two handfuls ungrinded. Mix chili,
curry leaves, seasoning, egg, onion and cummin seeds
together into the peas. Mix in enough self-raising
flour until mixture is well-binded. Heat oil and spoon the
mixture into the
hot oil. Fry until golden brown and serve
as
savoury.

Enjoy!
