from NY, USA 1 cup crushed pineapple ( well drained ) 8 oz marshmallows cut up into small pieces 1 cup heavy cream whipped 1/2 cup coarse chopped almonds toasted Maraschino cherries for garnish Easy and simple. Mix pineapple and marshmallow and let stand one hour. Fold in whipped cream. Cover and chill overnight. Shape into small balls and roll in the almonds. Garnish each ball with a maraschino cherry. Serve in glass dessert dishes. If you don't roll into balls, fold in nuts and cherries and serve mixture as is.
