1 medium onion chopped 2 Tbs. butter 1 cup sour cream 1/2 cup cranberry mustard store bought in jar OR ( mix 1/4 c cranberry sauce into 1/4 c honey mustard or Dijon mustard till smooth ) 2 to 4 salmon fillets seasoned as desired with salt and pepper chopped fresh chives dried cranberries Sauté in butter the chopped onion over low /medium heat until caramelized and golden. Stir in the sour cream and heat slowly. Then stir in the cranberry mustard until well blended. Serve this warm sauce over broiled or grilled salmon filets or salmon steaks, by spooning some sauce over the salmon. Garnish with chopped chives and dried cranberries.
