Spaghetti with Pesto Sauce This is my first submittal, but one I think all will enjoy. The recipe is actually one my brother in-law developed. I made it for the first time last week and it was loved by all in my familly. What I like about it is that it is quick and easy to make, less than 30 minutes from preperation to table. Incredients 3 or4 gloves garlic chopped 3oz Olive Oil, good quality Italian, extra virgin 7oz Fresh Pesto Sauce, I used Cantadina 12 or 14 oz jar Prepared ,Traditional Spaghetti Sauce, I used Ragu 1 1/2 Angel Hair Pasta Salt and Peper to taste, not required though Boil Pasta and set aside. Brown the garlic in the olive oil and remove from heat. Stir in the pesto sauce and return to, and add tomato Sauce stiring constantly. Continue stiring sauce until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat and pour over the prepared pasta. Serve immediatly. The secret is to continue stiring while heating the to Spaghetti Sauce, otherwise the pesto sauce will seperate and burn at the bottom of the pan. I served this with a fresh green salad and Garlic bread. Fred, Columbia, MD USA

Spaghetti with Pesto Sauce

This is my first submittal, but one I think all will enjoy. The recipe is
actually one my brother in-law
developed. I made it for the first time last
week and it was loved by all in my familly. What I like about it is that it
is quick and easy to make, less than 30 minutes from preperation to table.

Incredients
3 or4 gloves
garlic chopped
3oz
Olive Oil, good quality Italian, extra virgin
7oz Fresh
Pesto Sauce, I used Cantadina
12 or 14 oz jar Prepared ,Traditional
Spaghetti Sauce, I used Ragu
1 1/2
Angel Hair
Pasta
Salt and Peper to taste, not required though

Boil Pasta and set aside. Brown the garlic in the
olive oil and remove from
heat. Stir in the
pesto sauce and return to, and add
tomato Sauce stiring
constantly. Continue stiring
sauce until it comes to a boil. Remove from
heat and pour over the prepared
pasta. Serve immediatly. The secret is to
continue stiring while heating the to
Spaghetti Sauce, otherwise the pesto
sauce will seperate and burn at the bottom of the pan.

I served this with a fresh
green salad and
Garlic bread.
