I am new to this list and really want to start sending some of our favorite recipes. This gets raves everytime. Sweet and Sour Carrots (4 - 6 portions) Ingrediants: 3 medium carrots 2 green peppers 1 egg Sauce: 4 Tbls red dry wine 4 Tbls vinegar 2 Tbls soy sauce 2 Tbls water 4 Tbls sugar 1 Tbls corn starch 4 Tbls oil Method: Cut carrots into thin slivers, dice green peppers. Mix egg in bowl. Mix sauce in different bowl. Heat 2 Tbls oil in pan. Fry egg in hot oil like an omlet. Roll up and slice into long strips. Add more oil to pan. Put in peppers stir fry for about 1 1/2 min. until deep in color. Remove from pan. In same pan add carrots stir fry for 3 min. Return peppers to the pan. Pour sauce over the vegtables and heat till thickens and veggies are glazed. Add egg pieces and serve hot. I would appreceiate comments from anyone who makes this recipe.

Sauce:

As a vegetarian I found this to be a good protein recipe as well as a vegetable recipe. Thanks for taking the time to share it with us all.
