from NY, USA 2 cups frozen green peas 1 small onion fine chopped 2 Tbs. walnuts 2 Tbs. creamy peanut butter 1 lg garlic clove minced 3 fresh large basil leaves Trying to please some of my vegan relatives I came up with this. They even used leftovers for sandwiches!! Microwave peas and onions together for 5 minutes or soft and tender. Then place mixture in food processor with remaining ingredients and process smooth. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm in a crock as a spread or chilled and use as a filling for sandwiches. Serves 4 to 6.
