The popularity of a recipe is determined here by averaging its ranking from last week with that of two weeks ago and dividing it by the total number of recipes that exist in the database. Therefore, the popularity data here is only a recent snapshot. This was done to promote accuracy and to include as many of the newer recipes as possible.
