Hi everyone! Here's a great recipe for pasta I wanted to share--my kids
love this!!

CAVATINI
1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground pork sausage (hot or mild)
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package pepperoni slices, chopped
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes, undrained
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa (medium or mild)
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
1 (16 ounce) package macaroni shells, cooked
1 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
4 cups (or more) shredded mozzarella cheese
Cook the first 4 ingredients in a skillet over medium heat, stir until meat
is brown and crumbles. Drain and set aside. Combine the pepperoni and the
next 4 ingredients in large bowl; add the meat mixture and the cooked
macaroni. Put half this mixture into a greased 11 inch X 7 inch baking
dish; sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan or Romano cheese and 1 cup of the
mozzarella cheese. Top with the remaining meat and pasta mixture. Bake at
375 degrees for 30 minutes; top with remaining mozzarella cheese and bake
additional 5 minutes longer.

**This can be made ahead of time and freezes great. For baking frozen:
bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
