1 pound pasteurized American cheese (ex: Velveeta brand)
1 can tomatoes with green chilies chopped (10 oz)
In a double boiler slowly melt cheese. Stir in tomatoes and chilies, blending well and breaking up tomatoes. Yield about 3 cups. Serve with corn chips.
Variations: may add 1/2 lb cooked and crumbled sausage. Or more cheese for a thicker dip
