Gooey Butter Cake

This is a St. Louis recipe. It's VERY sweet, VERY gooey, and VERY
sticky. It's perfect for a brunch. It's also VERY delicious!

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 egg
1 stick soft margarine or butter

Mix the above 3 ingredients on low speed in mixer for approx. 1 minute.
The mixture should be crumbly. Pat into bottom of 9 x 13 pan.

Top with:
8 oz. cream cheese
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 box powdered sugar

Mix the above 4 ingredients on high speed until smooth. Pour over top of
above. Bake until brown on top.

Bakes at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
